The “Table Museum” series of figma action figures based on famous works of art known throughout the world is bringing back the 10th figure released in the series, Winged Victory of Samothrace!
The statue, found on the island of Samothrace north of the Aegean Sea, is a masterpiece of Greek sculpture from the Hellenistic era that captures Niké, the Goddess of Victory, alighting on a ship’s bow. Originally created as a way to honor the gods and show thanks following an important naval victory, much of the statue including her head and arms have been lost to time, adding to her mystery and intrigue.
This figma figure faithfully captures the statue’s iconic look down to its marble-like texture and features smooth joints and complex partitions in the legs, allowing for all sorts of posing possibilities. Also included is an interchangeable body part that can be used with the head part from the separately sold Venus de Milo figma figure or any other figma figure to display her with a head! Don’t miss out on adding this historical work of art in figure form to your collection this time!
